1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the provision of services by Fire Certificate Ireland (“we”, “our”, “us”) to clients (“you”, “your”). By engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.

2. Services

• We provide fire safety inspections, reports, and certification in compliance with applicable Irish fire safety legislation.

• Consultancy services may also include advice, guidance, and recommendations relating to fire safety compliance.

• We reserve the right to decline services where information provided is incomplete, inaccurate, or misleading.

3. Client Responsibilities

• You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information about your property/project.

• You must ensure access to the premises at agreed times.

• You are responsible for acting on recommendations and remedial actions set out in our reports.

4. Fees & Payment

• All fees will be agreed in advance and confirmed in writing.

• Payment terms are strictly [e.g. 7 / 14] days from invoice date.

• We reserve the right to withhold reports or certification until payment is received.

• Late payments may incur interest in accordance with the Late Payments in Commercial Transactions Regulations 2012.

5. Cancellations & Rescheduling

• Appointments may be rescheduled with at least 48 hours’ notice.

• Cancellations within 24 hours may be subject to a cancellation fee.

• Where we must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, we will reschedule at the earliest opportunity.

6. Refund & Cancellation Policy

• Refunds are only provided where services have not yet been delivered.

• No refunds will be given once an inspection has taken place or a report/certificate has been issued.

• If you cancel more than 48 hours before your scheduled appointment, any fees paid in advance will be refunded in full.

• Cancellations made within 24–48 hours of the appointment may be subject to a charge of up to 50% of the agreed fee.

• Cancellations within 24 hours or failure to provide access to the property at the agreed time will result in no refund being issued.

• Refunds (where applicable) will be processed within 14 days to the original payment method.

7. Liability

• We exercise due skill, care, and diligence in delivering our services.

• Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the service provided.

• We accept no responsibility for consequential, indirect, or financial losses arising from delays, omissions, or non-compliance actions taken by third parties.

• Compliance remains the responsibility of the property owner/client.

8. Reports & Certificates

• Reports and certificates are based on the condition of the property at the time of inspection.

• Certificates are issued only when the property meets required fire safety standards.

• We do not guarantee approval by statutory bodies where additional requirements may apply.

9. Confidentiality

• We will treat client information and reports as confidential, except where disclosure is required by law.

10. Governing Law

• These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland.

• Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
